Contacts are how you gain access to more information on the hosts of the shows you want to reach out to, this could include contact information, social media information and more.
1 Contact = 1 Podcast show contact information (This will provide you with all the contact information we have)
For each monthly PLAN there is a set amount of contacts allocated, these roll over into the next month for you to use ongoing.

Go to SETTINGS / BILLING
This will show you the plan and term you are subscribed to, as you can see above Im on the SUPERGUEST plan paying monthly.
This will also show you the contacts and features you have on a monthly basis.
You can export or download the contact details in relation to the number of contacts you use, there are no export limits it is purely based on the plan and contacts you have available in your account.
Unfortunately not….
Getting booked on podcasts has three steps.
1) Finding the right podcasts.
2) Having something interesting or valuable to share.
3) Sending in a good pitch for a story or interview.
We help by saving you hundreds of hours on the first step, finding the right podcasts for you simply and quickly, we can’t help on the second step. For the third step, you can read some articles in our blog to help you put together a good pitch.
Researching podcasts manually to find the ones you want to appear on or get more details on can take hours, going through online directories such as Apple Podcasts to find the shows, then you need to check are they online still, are they interview style and more…
All of the above we do in one search, put in a keyword or search by category and we have 4m+ podcasts in our directory and 100m+ episodes, this takes less than sixty seconds to search to find the shows you want to be on.
That is before you even use the platform to contact the hosts using the details we provide in our campaign tool that automates the emails being sent, so no more manual tracking or sending.
Researching podcasts to become a guest and hence asking for payback on that time is key, in terms of generating web traffic from that appearance this is why we include the Domain Authority Rank against podcasts, so you can identify the shows to appear on that will give you a strong back link.
Web traffic comes from getting your own back link on the podcast shows website, not their hosting link (ie anchor.fm) but their actual live site that has your niche audience visiting.
New filters that allow you to search by:
- Gender of the host
- Guest interview podcast
- Language of the podcast
- Country of origin.
- Has a WEBSITE (NOT the podcast hosting link ie anchor.fm)
- Domain RANK Authority
What this means is that you can now highly target podcasts that you are looking for, want to find a Spanish speaking podcast that has a female host? Yes you now can…
Gender – You can search by the gender of the host, add this as a filter to only show podcasts that have a host who is Male/Female.
Guest Tag – The core of appearing on a interview style podcast is being able to identify them quickly without having to look at the podcast and work it out, we have done that for you, now it is a filter.
Language – You asked and we delivered, Spanish speaking podcasts are growing quickly along with other languages, so now there is a filter to allow you to find those podcasts that are recorded in the language you choose.
Country of Origin – Whilst language is key you may want to identify the country, is it Spanish speaking from Mexico or Europe. Now you can use the filter to find these niche shows.
Has a website – This allows you to target and filter the podcasts that have built their own community, outside of their standard podcast hosted site (ie anchor.fm)
Domain Authority – not all podcasts have a large audience when they start or even as they grow, but what they may have is a large target audience who visit their website, which means to you getting on that show and a backlink back to you, becomes super valuable.

Lists are your saved searches that you want to run again at a later date to get more podcasts to reach out to.

Search filters are different parameters you can use to fine-tune the podcast results you get in Podcast Hawk. Some examples are:
- Filtering podcast show titles by keywords.
- Filtering podcast descriptions by keywords to find a niche.
- Source podcasts in a specific language.
- Finding podcasts by total reviews to find those highly rated shows. Finding podcast by average review score to determine shows that listeners love.
- Check for podcasts in certain categories to narrow down a sector that is specific to you.

These are just some examples, the use cases are endless.
By using the search capabilities of PodcastHawk you can find the shows that are active, have listener intent, and will be the ones you should appear on… start your outreach now.

As you can see on the data exposed here we have a PH score of 65 for this particular show, this is a moving average scoring mechanism and is updated constantly based on multiple key data points that are key to podcasts.
Use this as a search filter to build lists of shows that you want to monitor over time and see if they are improving before you reach out to them, determine if new shows are rising that you wish to be a guest on before they become mainstream.
Yes, your 7-day trial allows you to run as many searches as you like, narrow down the podcasts you want information on. When you are ready you can use your provided contacts to download the information on the shows you have selected.
There are no limits on the number of searches you can perform, but you do have a limited number of contacts available for downloading podcast show contact details.

HIT SAVE.
Watch this video.

When you run a search you can save this in your LISTS.
Each plan comes with a set amount of saved LISTS, what this means is if you want to go back to a search you made in a day/week/month/year you can then run that search again and find new shows that have been published or compare the ones from your previous search with new results.
When you save your LIST you can give it a memorable name and so when you look at your saved searches it makes sense.

When setting up your emails you can choose how many are sent, 1, 2,3 or 4 all you have to do is leave the days that you do not want to send emails BLANK.
e.g – Email Two you do not want to send anything on that day in the campaign, so just leave it blank and no email will be sent that day, but if you put something in Email Three that will be sent then.
There are two methods that Google has in place that could mean you get error codes when setting up your email settings to drive campaigns. One is enabling access for less secure apps, but this only has to be done if you DON’T HAVE 2FA enabled. Go to – https://myaccount.google.com/security You will see the area below – Less Secure Apps. You need to TURN THIS ON.
If you want to use Google Workspace to send out emails via Podcast Hawk then in order to do so you need to be able to send via IMAP*, in order to do this it needs to be enabled in your google account. Check it is, via the screenshot below *( IMAP stands for Internet Message Access Protocol, and it’s the open standard that describes how to access messages in an email mailbox.)
So in order to access your email through Podcast Hawk one solution is to enable LESS SECURE APPs which is easy in itself, but out of the box Google Workspace does not enable this in all user accounts so you need to login to your GOOGLE ADMIN https://www.admin.google.com When you are in there you need to go to https://support.google.com/a/answer/6260879?hl=en this will walk you through how to enable this in your GOOGLE WORKSPACE USER ACCOUNT.
We will use the example of Google Mail – watch this short video that walks you through the two ways to set up your details using Google Mail. Podcast Hawk | Email Provider (apologies this is rough and ready at present, we are recording new videos and will release them soon) https://share.descript.com/view/ENHO8hQlYzs
When setting up your email provider settings in order for campaigns to work you must provide the details of SMTP and IMAP, without this you will not be able to send your campaign emails out.
We have a single seat user license which allows one user to use the service with a set amount of credits per month allocated to them, this only allows that user to access podcast hawk.
There is also the option for multi users to access the platform, this is normally used by agencies who want a single instance for a client, to contain all the research and notes on that client in one place along with the email campaigns being sent as well.
All charges are in US dollars and are processed through our secure provider STRIPE.
